The Jaguars announced their plans to entertain fans safely in an email to season tickets holder on Friday.
The team is reducing its seating capacity at TIAA Bank Field to 25 percent, meaning roughly 16,800 fans at most will be able to watch the Jaguars in person this season under the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention current guidelines. Fans will also be required to wear masks.
The Jaguars are working with Ticketmaster to develop a new seating chart that will allow 6 feet of distance between different fan groups.
All season tickets already purchased will be refunded or credited. The Jaguars will reach out to existing season ticket holders in early August with new season ticket availability.
All account tenures will remain intact regardless of whether 2020 tickets are purchased. Also, all seat locations will be protected for the 2021 season.
The Jaguars will move to mostly cashless payments as well for in-stadium purchases.
The regular-season opener is Sept. 13 against Indianapolis.
