LOVELAND, Ohio – Nov. 14, 2016 – DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at EverBank Field on December 1, 2016. The event is sponsored by BlueLine Rental and will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Union Institute and University will present a seminar at 10:00 a.m. titled “The Next Mission Awaits: Your Degree” and DAV and BlueLine Rental will host a seminar at 10:15 a.m. titled “Who We Are & What We Do.”
“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President Peter Gudmundsson. “Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers.”
In March of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Jacksonville event connected more than 511 veteran job seekers with 47 exhibitors including General Electric Company, Lockheed Martin Corporation and Mercedes Benz Corporate Headquarters. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 542 interviews and make up to 159 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 23 events in Jacksonville, drawing 9,811 attendees and 754 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
